How do I prepare for my appointment?
It’s very easy to prepare for our floor cleanings. First, we recommend taking everything off of the floor/areas about to be cleaned. Expose as much carpet/floor as possible to get maximum results. We are able to clean around large furniture.
For safety, please lock up or put away all animals while technician is on site cleaning for their and our safety. The door will be slightly ajar and the machines can be loud.
Vacuum thoroughly beforehand. By removing some dirt from the carpet fiber prior to having your carpets professionally cleaned, helps us to focus more on the deep down soiled in dirt.
Point out any areas of concern. Make sure you let us know any stains, spots or areas you’re most concerned with. This will help ensure that there aren’t any missed spots.
Please ensure that there is a parking spot near the home/areas being cleaned for our trucks and technicians to access the area.
Do you move furniture?
EcoClean Restoration does not move furniture during standard carpet cleanings. We can move smaller items and we can clean around furniture and larger items. It is up to the technician’s discretion as to what can be moved/shifted.
How long does the carpet cleaning appointment last?
It will depend on the size of the job. The length of time to complete the carpet cleaning appointment will depend on how much carpet is being cleaned and the condition of the carpet. When we walk the areas, we will provide an estimated job completion time.
What are the appointment times?
We schedule our appointments in 2-hour window arrival times. We do not want to waste our customer’s valuable time waiting around for us. We value our customers and their time.
How long does it normally take the carpet to dry after its been cleaned?
The carpet should be dry about 4-6 hours after the cleaning. During our cleaning process we do multiple dry strokes to help the carpet dry. If pet treatment was applied the dry time can be longer. There are ways to expedite the drying process such as by keeping the A/C on, keeping windows closed, and the fan on.
What kind of stains can be treated?
We are able to treat and remove most stains from pet stains to paint and slime. We can also treat red wine stains and make up. We use an array of different solutions and solvents to remove stains from carpet.
Should I get the stain ready?
No, just leave the stain as is and we’ll take it from here. We treat each stain with the appropriate stain removing procedure. Sometimes DIY “tricks” can cause the stain to set and make it more difficult for professionals to remove the stain.
What kind of carpet cleaning equipment does EcoClean Restoration use?
We use a powerful truck mounted system specifically built to provide industry leading quality. The cleaning method we use is Hot Water Extraction or “Steam Cleaning”. This method of cleaning is most recommended by carpet manufacturers and the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration). Many carpet manufacturers even require that the carpets be professionally steam cleaned once a year to maintain their warranty.
Is the cleaning process safe for my family and pets?
Absolutely. The products and techniques used are completely safe for both children and pets. As a eco-friendly company, we only use products that are environmentally friendly and family friendly. We only use products that we would use in our homes and are safe to use around your home. We also are very mindful of waste water, we do not dump dirty water anywhere near your home and family.
